Preventing Hair Loss

Is your hair getting thinner?  Unfortunately, part of getting older is having to deal with hair loss.  Not everyone suffers from hair loss, which is good news.  It's also good to know that there are ways of preventing hair loss.  But first you need to find out if hair loss is a problem for you.

Have you noticed that your hair seems thinner that it used to?  Are you noticing more hair than usual on your brush or comb?  Or maybe you've noticed more hair on you pillow or in your shower drain?  Theses are all symptoms of hair loss.

The first thing you'll want to do is check to make sure there isn't a medical reason for your hair loss.  Hair loss can be a symptom of some diseases so be sure to check this out first.  The Mayo Clinic is a good place to start.
